With a delightful view of Lewis Bay, Veterans Beach on Ocean Street in Hyannis is a popular place where beachgoers enjoy picnics and cookouts shaded by a pine grove. The park area is also the spot of two historical shrines, the John F. Kennedy Memorial and Korean War Memorial. This is also a good place to watch the boats traveling in and out of Hyannis Harbor. There is a playground for children next to the beach.
